Aluminum Mirror Cells

The finest light-weight cell on the market!

This exclusive design from University Optics lets your mirror reach thermal equilibrium faster than any cell on the market, eliminating the "chimney effect."

How strong is it? One user reported he packed his 10" Dobsonian on a travel trailer, drove up the Alaskan Highway and back and never touched the collimation adjustments! The cell fastens to your tube with three large 3/8-16 bolts. Spring-loaded mirror carrier for easy adjustment. Mirror is held by three rubber backed clips and rests on dense rubber pads. On 10" or larger cells there are 9 pads. Thousands of satisfied users. Sizes listed are for the mirror diameter.
